Event Details
The year 2010 has delivered a milestone in Illinois History. Theta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated celebrated 100 years of service to Illinois and Chicago on February 21, 2010. Nearly 100 years ago, the first black collegiate fraternity expanded to Chicago and has given birth to chapters throughout the state of Illinois and college campuses in and around the Land of Lincoln.
To commemorate our Centennial, we are preparing a souvenir advertisement journal to be distributed to all attendees at our Centennial Gala Event on Saturday August 21, 2010. The Centennial Gala will be held at the magnificent South Shore Cultural Center on Chicago’s Lakefront. Over 700 guests will be in attendance and this forum will provide an excellent opportunity for you to advertise your business or services to a targeted audience; who traditionally support and patronize friends of our community
